I just can’t get enough of this cute little rabbit in the Fable Friends stamp set. It definitely reminds me of Peter Rabbit- books I read to my children when they were young. I made these three cute cards using the gingham gala designer series paper from the Occasions catalogue. I just love how springy this paper is!
For this post I am going to show you how I made the purple middle fold card- I just love the Highland Heather Cardstock especially when it’s paired with the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
To make the base of this card, I take the 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Heather Highland Cardstock and score it at 2-1/8″
Fold this piece toward the center of the card.
Fold the other side in to match (this is easier than measuring both sides and makes a more perfect fit when the card is folded.
Attache the Gingham Gala Paper Designer Series Paper to each side of the card front.
Cut out the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Stamp the grass from the Home to Roost stamp set.
Stamp the rabbit out of the left over scrap of whisper white cardstock. Colour using the Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the rabbit using your paper snips. Add to front of the oval stamped with the grass.
Adhere some flowers from the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins.
Cut a large oval using the Oval Layering Framelit from highland heather cardstock.
Using Snail Adhesive, glue the white oval to the highland heather oval. Adhere to one side of the front of the card using dimensionals.
Measurements for this Card:
- Heather Highland – 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scrap 3 x 4 for oval
- Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper – 5-1/4 x 1-7/8 (2 pieces)
- Whisper White Cardstock – 7 x 2-1/2 ( for oval and rabbit)
