Gather Together Part 2

Here are some more beautiful cards made using products from the Gather Together stamp set, dies and designer series paper! What I really LOVE about the leaf dies is that they cut and emboss at the same time- and they are beautiful! Just look at the detail in the card below.

For this card I used Cajun Craze card stock for the base with early espresso cardstock for the next layer. The woodgrain paper is from the Come To Gather designer series pack- it is just so beautiful. I had trouble deciding which side of the designer series paper to use on each card!

The greeting is made using the largest circle die from the stitched shapes framelits. I then stamped the wheat in so saffron ink. The leaves are die cut using the dies- they are also sponged around the edges using cajun craze ink. The largest leaf is embossed using copper embossing powder and heated with the heat tool- then die cut.

I added the cajun craze twine from the ribbon combo pack, and a few holiday rhinestone basic jewels to the sentiment. (Supply list for all cards follows)

For this card I used cajun craze cardstock for the base, then a layer of the Come to Gather designer series paper. I added a smaller layer of the cajun craze cardstock (4″ x 2 3/4″) and a layer of the woodgrain paper (4″ x 2 1/2″) to the middle of the card.  The largest leaf if stamped in cajun craze ink them coloured using cajun craze light and dark Stampin’ blends. The smallest leaf is die cut out of copper foil paper. The other leaves are die cut out of pumpkin pie and cajun craze cardstock. The circle for the greeting is from the stitched shapes framelits stamped using cajun craze ink and crumb cake ink for the wheat.I think this one is my favourite! (Supply list for all cards follows)

This card beautifully showcases the Come to Gather designer series paper. I have added a 2″ x 5 1/4″ piece down the left side of the early espresso card base. I then added another layer of the early espresso 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and a 3″ x 4″ piece  of the designer series paper. I attached a piece of the ribbon from the ribbon combo pack and tied a knot. The label is cut out of a scrap of early espresso using the story punch. The tiny leaves are punched out of pretty peacock cardstock using the leaf punch from the Every Season Punch pack. For this card I used pretty peacock cardstock and the Come to Gather designer series paper (2″ x 5 1/4″). I also added two strips of copper foil to the smaller pieces of cardstock – they measure 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1″ x 5 1/4″. The leaf is die cut out of copper foil paper and a small bow is attached using the 1/4″ copper trim. The sentiment is heat embossed using the copper embossing powder and the heat tool.
