I love all the seasons- and now that the leaves are turning colours, it has inspired me to create some beautiful fall cards using these wonderful colours from nature! The Harvest Hellos bundle is a must have because of it’s versatility and because it has a punch it is quick and easy to make cards.
This card uses old olive for the base (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″)
I then attached a strip of crumb cake 11″ x 3″ scored at 5 1/2″ to the front middle.
On top of the crumb cake I adhered a piece of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper 5 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ (#149500- I forgot this in the product list)
I stamped the pumpkin onto pumpkin pie cardstock twice- then using my paper snips I fussy cut one of them to make it smaller (I cut off the two outside sections of the pumpkin). I layered them up using dimensionals.
I cut out a stem and leaves using the punch.
I used the timeless label for the sentiment which I stamped in old olive ink. I made the label smaller by inserting it back into the punch and trimming it off (see video)
I added a double bow made from linen thread. This is a quick and easy card to make! (Products listed below for all cards)
I LOVE the non-traditional colours in this card! I have used pool party cardstock for the base and adhered a piece of the Come to Gather designer series paper to the entire front (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)
For the middle layer i used a piece of early espresso (5 1/2″ x 2 3/4″) and a piece of the Come to Gather designer series paper 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″)
I stamped the pumpkin , leaves and stem on white cardstock using crumb cake ink. I then coloured them using the light and dark mint macaron Stampin’ Blends.
The greeting is from the September Paper Pumpkin kit (it was beautiful!) I cut it out using the classic label punch. I added a double bow made using linen thread.
A quick yet stunning fall card! (Products listed below for all cards)
This layout is the same as the card above- but with quite a different look using more traditional fall colours. The card base is soft sued and I stamped around the top and bottom edges using soft suede ink and the leaf flower from the Harvest Hellos stamp set.
The next layer is crumb cake cardstock 3″ x 5 1/2″. Next layer is early espresso cardstock 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. The woodgrain layer is 2″ x 5 1/2″ and is from the Come to Gather designer series paper- I think I have used up all of these sheets!
For the pumpkin- I stamped the pumpkin three times on pumpkin pie cardstock. I then folded each pumpkin in half using the bone folder. I glues three of the sides of the pumpkins together- then added the 3D pumpkin to the front of the card.
I fussy cut a strip of old olive cardstock to make the curly vine at the top of the pumpkin and cut out a stem using the punch.
The greeting is made from a scrap of crumb cake cardstock (1″ x 2″) and the greeting is from the Gather Together stamp set.
Another fun fall card that’s easy to make! It does fold flat for mailing! (Products listed below for all cards)
