Adorable Chick Card

This cute little chick just looks so adorable on this card that would be great for Easter, Spring- or just to send a sweet ‘Hello’. I thought I would add the little wing to the chick by stamping the chick again on a scrap of paper- then cutting out the wing and sponging around the edge- I think it looks super cute! Complete directions for this card are below:

Directions:

1. Card Base – Thick Whisper White 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
2. So Saffron cardstock 5 1/4″ x  4″- embossed using the Subtle 3D embossing folder
3. Adhere to card using snail
4. Die cut the largest rectangle die from the So Sweetly dies
5. Using a sliver of a stamping sponge- colour top part of rectangle with seaside spray ink
6. Die cut the grass from a piece of Pleased as Punch designer series paper using the Special Days Dies
7. Adhere to bottom of rectangle using snail
8. Stamp the  chick (so saffron ink) and feet (Pumpkin pie ink) on whisper white cardstock
9. Stamp the beak using pumpkin pie ink and the eyes using memento ink
10. Fussy cut the chick and feet using paper snips
11. Using Whisper White cardstock stamp the chick again and cut out a wing
12. Add wing to chick using dimensionals
13. Add chick to white rectangle piece using dimensionals
14. Add rectangle to card using dimensionals
15. Die cut speech bubble using the Special Days Dies
16. Cut out a flower using the small bloom punch
17. Stamp ‘Hello’ sentiment using granny apple green ink
18. Cut out a leaf from granny apple green using leaf punch
19. Adhere to speech bubble using a glue dot
20. Add to card using dimensionals
