Welcome to my Cadbury Mini Egg Challenge. Every day from now until Easter I will be posting a cute packaging idea using Cadbury Mini Eggs. They are a big favourite in our house so I thought this would be a fun challenge!
For Day 1 I have made it super easy. I used the 2"x8" cellophane bags to hold the mini eggs. I like these little bags because they hold just enough of a special treat, and they are quick and easy to assemble.
Using the starburst punch, punch out a circle from the Myths and Magic glimmer paper- I used the bermuda bay colour.
Next, using the big shot and whisper white card stock, cut out one of the smaller circles from the layering circles framelits.
Using bermuda bay ink, stamp the 'just for you' stamp from the 'A Good Day' stamp set onto the white circle.
Glue the white circle on the glitter paper circle using multi liquid glue- set aside for a few minutes to dry (otherwise it will fall off!)
Punch a hole in the top for the ribbon.
Fill the bag with 3/4 of the way with mini eggs (I used 18 eggs). Using the bermuda bay 3/8" mini chevron ribbon, tie it around the bag, then insert into the hole of the tag and tie a bow. Trim the ends.
These are perfect little treats to give out for Easter or for another occasion.
