WHO KNEW?????
WHO KNEW THAT YOU COULD USE YOUR STAMPIN’ BLENDS TO COLOUR THE MAGNOLIA LANE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER TO CREATE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LOOK?
I saw a video online where someone had used the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper to create a Christmas card- and I was intrigued! The card looked every bit Christmas- and the technique used was colouring! As a former primary teacher- this was music to my ears! I LOVE colouring- it is therapeutic, fun and relaxing!
So I tried using my Cherry Cobbler Blends (light and dark for accents) to colour a piece of the designer series paper. WOW! It turned out beautifully! I added a black bow for an accent and voila! A beautiful Christmas card.
These cards are all a Z-Fold design, and I will add a video showing how to make it.
Once I was done with this card I knew I had to try different colours of my Stampin’ Blend markers. Here are the other cards I created using this technique:
I could have kept going- but that was enough for now. I am sure to try this at one of my upcoming card classes!
